Montana Hut has a unique location on one of the most beautiful spots of Koh Kood, remote and surrounded by nature on the rocks next to Khlong Hin Beach. A river bordered with mangrove forest separates this headland from the beach. To get there coming from the main land, we recommend people to use the Koh Kood Princess as their taxi will drive all the way to Montana Hut.
A small dirt road connects Montana Hut to the main road. At night this road is only for experienced drivers though, it’s dark and can be bumpy. An alternative option is to follow the wooden bridge from Montana Hut to the beach from where a small partially paved road of about 15 minutes by motorbike leads to the main road via the back of Khlong Hin Beach Resort. In Southern direction around the corner of the headland is a good concrete path leading to the next bay where beautiful Ao Jark Beach can be found.
Montana Koh Kood consists of five river view bungalows and a wooden house with three sea view rooms.
The riverside bungalows have a modern and simple design, with private bathrooms (hot shower) and balconies in front. All rooms have the option of fan or air-conditioning and overlook the river and sideways the sea and beach.
The wooden house (formerly known as Koh Kood In Love) has three connected rooms with a shared balcony offering sea view. The rooms each have a private bathroom (hot shower).
